I'm take care of the things I own and as a result standard items tend to last me pretty well however the head set that came with my Xbox were average at best and didn't last a month. The Turtle Ear Force XC1 were so much better than I had expected that I almost bought a pear for all my Xbox live friends.

Not only will you hear more clearly but others will hear you better too. Anyone that is currently using the standard head set needs to get one of these. It will change your gaming experience tenfold.

who wouldve thought a simple headset upgrade can enhance your online gameing experience by soo much.

i for one am a happy man, as my black ops online gameing is on another level. this headset is comfy, clear to the ear, and my friends are a little jealous when they see me in action.

Great Buy

Was asked by my son to purchase this product. He knows more about it than me. He is very pleased and has had no problem with headphones thus far.

Headset works great for online gaming. Mic is quite sensitive though so you need to remember to switch off when not in use. Well worth the money and is better than the original headset I got with the XBox

Awesome quality for one of the cheaper models of headsets :)

As up until this point I had been using a standard xbox 360 head set, adjusting to the feel of having this on my head took some getting used to- after a few days though, it became relatively comfortable to wear.

Microphone is great, my friends can hear me clearly and it's easily adjustable but the speaker is average at best and at times I have trouble hearing what others are saying even with the volume up at it's highest.

Having said that- it's a good budget headset and does the job but if you have the money to spend on a better one, then do so.

I was happy the moment I plugged this in. Much clearer than the standard Xbox headset and you can hear other things going on around you and in the game still due to the earphone being a cutaway style cup. It's solidly built and feels like it will last a long time. The microphone sounds clear, is robust and easily adjustable too.

This is my fourth headset from Turtle Beach and by far the most disappointing – the microphone works okay however the speaker is very faint.

I bought this because I wanted a light headset for long PC conversations (it plugs into a earforce PBT Bluetooth)

Well it's definitely light and airy, however I can hear a lot of external sound coming through the large openings in the earpiece. Even with the volume turned right up I struggle at times to hear what people are saying, something that's never been a problem with the other Turtle Beach headsets I've had.

The headband is not the most comfortable either it grabs your head in a firm hold and you can feel the side clip pushing in.

While I struggle to hear others the weird thing is they can hear me clearly.

This headset sells for a good price and the mic is good – just don't expect to get good sound coming out of them – hmm… maybe if you are only interested in talking and not in listening they would be perfect.

bought this headset and was very pleased. until the headset stopped working within 2 weeks. (using average 2–3hours a day.) had to replace for a much more expensive headset, only but this if you want a cheap made headset from a good brand… disappointing
