300 gsm so I can paint on both sides, no buckling whatsoever. Really good price from Mightyape. Will definitely buy more.

"Good paper can paint on both sides"
5 stars"

Well bound, quality paper, doesn't buckle but does curl slightly, haven't used for heavy washes but does take ink well. Had a weird bleed through on one page with a watercolour marker but appears to be the exception not the rule. Great for urban sketching ink and wash

Very nice paper. Good texture. Didn't warp or wrinkle. Wonderful little book.

Solidly bound and lovely paper to paint on. Great price and arrived quickly. Very happy with my purchase.

"Behaves more like an average quality hot pressed paper"
3 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

Quite disappointed with this paper as it appears to be heavily and unevenly externally sized and as such behaves like an average quality hot pressed paper. I use Roman Szmal watercolors and find that they have a tendency to just sit on top of this paper, rather than get absorbed into the fibres. Think I'll stick to my Baohong medium or rough as it is so much nicer to use.

Hardly any warping. Great to work with. I swear the pigment in my paint seems brighter. Good absorption. Paper didn’t peel away at all

"The best cotton sketchbook out there"
5 stars"

What the title says, and it is also the cheapest one. Cheaper then non cotton watercolour sketchbooks too. The paper is great, no buckling, absorbs the paint like a charm. Lifts paint just fine. Layers beautifully. It is a challenge to overwork the paper. You can go layer on layer and the paper can handle it. Fab value
