Author Biography:

Christian Weaver is a human rights barrister, social justice campaigner and author of The Law in 60 Seconds. In 2023 Christian was named Legal Aid Newcomer of the Year for his work representing the family of Awaab Ishak, and his tireless campaign culminated in a new landmark law. He has worked at INQUEST and Liberty, and has been featured onnearly all UK major news platforms, including BBC News, the Guardian, Radio 4 and more. He is currently touring the UK to educate the public on their legal rights. Christian is based in Manchester.
