Hunt for the Wilderpeople will go down as one of the best movies ever made in New Zealand. The story, based on the bestselling book, "Wild Pork and Watercress" by Barry Crump was well adapted to screen by Taika Waititi and all the characters were portrayed marvellously by the actors which ultimately culminated in an enjoyable, heartfelt movie with a lot of lessons that can be learned in life. This is a must-see movie and I'd recommend getting the family together to enjoy this masterpiece. 10/10
Thoroughly enjoyed watching this movie again, saw it at the theater and wanted to own it, great story, great characters
What a fantastic movie, such a breath of fresh air amongst the over-dramatised and over produced movies we're used to seeing. Fantastic story line, great casting, great production and very, very funny! Saw it three times at the cinema and bought it on dvd as soon as it was released.
Very funny New Zealand movie It's definitely something you would watch again.
This was a humorous New Zealand film. The impact was added to by the casting. It showed off NZ wilderness in all its magnificence. It was different and quirky. I have come to expect this of NZ films. I would recommend this film to all.
