Author Biography
Eric Carle is an internationally bestselling and award-winning author and illustrator of books for very young children. He was born in New York, but spent his early life in Germany. He returned to the States in his early twenties and worked as a graphic designer for the New York Times. He went on to be the art director of an advertising agency before he began writing and illustrating children’s books. Eric lives in Massachusetts with his wife, Barbara. The Carles opened The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art in Massachusetts in 2002.

My 9 month old loves it! He waits for his favourite pages!
The Very Hungry Caterpillar was my favourite book as a small child. Bought for my kid!
I didn't grow up with this book however I hear fond memories from people who did. My baby seems to like it!
My partner really loves this book, so I bought it for her as a christmas present. She said, it's a wonderful book for kids to read, also for parents to read together with their kids. Highly recommend buying this book. Thank you Mighty Ape.
One of my favourite books when I was a kid and I have just purchased one for my 9 month old daughter. She enjoys the colouring and likes the holes in the fruit pages lol
