Miike is like the Peter Jackson of Japan. A prolific shock director turns his hand at a samurai epic – brilliantly! Not to be missed.
In the last days of feudal Japan a weary samurai is forced too choose between his blind loyalty too his lord or the people he terrorises for his own pleasure with the aid of a ragtag team of warriors.
I love movies that are based on true events, this movie is totally realistic on how people used to treat on another!
