"Great Zac Efron flick!"
4 stars"

Zac Efron has moved on from his high school musical days, and become the lovable Mike in this great teen comedy. Join him on his fantastic journey as he becomes “17 Again” – Zac does well in this movie – proving he is more than a basketball playing jock that can sing (HSM days). Great flick!!

"Have you Ever Wanted to Re-live Your High School Years?"

In this fantastic comedy 17 Again, you see what it is like for a High School Senior who grew up always wondering What If? 17 Again is a well written excellently casted comedian movie, that shows some wishes do come true. Follows Mike O'Donnell re-live his high school years, and try and understand why he has become 17 again is it for his own personnel gain? Or is it to get back in touch with his teenage children? Seeing life from a different angle where no bodies but you nerdy best friend from high school knows who you are makes for a very entertaining movie. A must watch movie for any teen, or perfect for girls night in.

Zac plays his part well, it is a story that most would be able to enjoy, not too heavy, just a pleasant comedy that is not over the top.

Description

17 Again

Class of 1989, Mike O'Donnell is a star on his high school basketball court with a college scout in the stands and a bright future in his grasp. But instead of pursuing this avenue, he decides to throw it all away to share his life with his girlfriend Scarlett and the baby he just learned they are expecting. Almost 20 years later, Mike's glory days are decidedly behind him.

His marriage to Scarlett has fallen apart, he has been passed over for a promotion at work, his teenage kids think he is a loser, and he has been reduced to crashing with his high school nerd-turned-techno-billionaire best friend Ned. But Mike is given another chance when he is miraculously transformed back to the age of 17.

Critic Reviews:

  • " Yes, we've seen this shtick before, but Efron's charm is effortless, Mann is dependably funny, and Lennon's sci-fi obsessed dork almost steals the show when, posing as Mike's father, he tries to woo the school's starchy principal. " – Jason Best
  • " Having previously shown that he can dance with the best of them, Efron now proves that he can act as well. " – Kaleem Aftab
  • " Endearingly funny. " – Caryn James
