I bought two one for me and one for my brother. Both to speed up our aging laptops, And did it ever you bet. Its like a new Computer. Boots up so fast and programs load in a blink of an eye. Even internet seems faster., I cloned my old hard drive to the ssd with my usb sata cable. With the Samsung data Migration software. You can download for free from Samsung site downloads. My 2TB HDD showed signs of dying so new it was time to upgrade. Purchased this (didn't need 2TB) after reviewing a variety of the cheapest 1TB SSDs avaliable. This was the best model for the best price – and Mightyape was open to Price Matching! Only slight difficulty with installation (my error forgetting) as SSD wasn't showing at all – but had to be ‘initialized’ in Disk Management and a Partition Created – then bam, all good! Fast as – Basic HDD transfer speeds were from 50–80mb, from SSD to SSD over 300mb (Used Teracopy to sight this). Excellent purchase – huge upgrade for my gaming re loading times. Highly recommend for anyone looking at upgrading to an SSD! Thanks Mightyape!
This is a great SSD drive for all computers. If you are looking at changing over to an SSD drive you can not pass this one by. Samsung have a great name in SSD drives is this is another one to add to the list with a great price to go with it.
