The Australian Safari is world renowned as one of the toughest motoring events in the world. An international cross country rally, covering over 2000 kmâ€™s of competitive trails the Australian safari is truly an ultimate test of man and machine. This yearâ€™s was no exception as competitors - including Bathurst legend Peter Brock - on four wheels and two slugged it out in the spectacular rugged outback of NSW. Starting at Bathurst the spiritual home of Australian Motor Sport the rally wound its way through Narromine, Bourke, White Cliffs, Broken Hill, Balranald, Condobolin, Mudgee before arriving back in Bathurst again over 4000 kmâ€™s later.
