I have to finish the boxed set before I can start this!
Haven't read this novel yet but I'm guessing it's as good as the last 4 books
Fantastic series
I won't review as that is spoilers.. However, looking forward to the next book..
What a way to finish the series. Can't wait for the rest to be written.
Having read all books up to date of this amazing series, I can honestly say that this a great addition to the already amazing, still evolving plot.
This book brings together the characters and mini plots from the other 4 books. Characters like Tyrion, Ary and Dany really make these books come to life. I have limited myself to 1–2 chapaters a day, just to drag it out!!! I dont want this to be the last!!
Having completed book five of this interminable screen play I had been hopeful for some, at least partial, conclusion to the the first part of the saga. It is obvious that the author is no Tolkien or even Fiest, Cherryh or Hobb and it seems the story will last as long as there is money to be made from it. While some characters are finely drawn the rest of the story seems to drown in endless descriptions of human depravity and torture. I had high hopes for the TV series but alas that seems to be following the same plot in the second season.
I can't rave enough on how good this series has been. The first season on TV drew me to the books, which i got from mighty ape, and find it difficult to stop reading. If you love fantasy, medieval works with a splash of intrigue and dark politics then you will love this series
Really enjoying this 5th book in the series, not yet finished but if you enjoyed the first books you will love this one too.
Best one of the series yet!
But I was very disappointed to see MAJOR spoilers written on the back of the book. DO NOT read the back of the book, unless you have read all the prior books!
I can highly recommend this book. Martin has done a wonderful job bringing us this book!
One thing though the print in the paperback is tiny, so I suggest getting the hardback version
