" A great down to earth family cook book"
4 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

These recipes work, are easy to follow and cover a range that would be of use to many New Zealand families. The ingredients on the whole are to be found in the average pantry. Most important you can produce really enjoyable food without breaking the bank. I bought my copy of this book because I was constantly borrowing one from the library as I relied on it frequently for every day use.

"A really good base for any cook who wants to cook "Kiwi"."
5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

This cookbook provides a fantastic base for any cook who wants to cook traditional “kiwi” food. My mother loved it so much when she got one for my London based sister that she searched all over town to get a second one for me until I went ahead and got it from Mighty Ape, that's how essential she thinks it is.

"My favourite cookbook!"
5 stars"

The best kiwi cookbook. A great and huge selection of kiwi favourites in a wide range of recipe styles from all over New Zealand. It became my go-to cookbook from the instant I bought it. It covers everything you need for a good spread and best of all: all the ingredients can be easily found in NZ! Absolutely love it!
