Author Biography

Karla Goodwin is the talented baker behind the boutique Auckland cake shop Bluebells Cakery. She learned her craft while living in London where she worked in one of the UK s most prestigious cupcake bakeries, Primrose Bakery. When she returned to New Zealand in 2011, Karla started selling at La Cigale, Auckland's French market, but soon opened her own cafe which quickly grew from opening just two days a week to a seven-day a week business. Her delicious, traditional recipes and eye for beautiful decoration and delightful presentation have earned her a growing reputation.
