Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (Classics) reviews

Lots of fun playing online lots of challenging game scenario's worth buying would recommend. I just wish I had brought it along time ago :-)

This game is really sick. When it comes to online multiplayer, you just cant beat COD MW2. Spectacular Visuals and tight controls make you feel right in the middle of the action. The single player campaign as well as spec ops mode are also extremely fun, especially with another player. You will spend hours on end playing and never get bored. Awesome service by mighty ape, recieved it the day after purchase and was well worth it

I really enjoyed completing the game, then opening Special Ops which is so challenging, but so good! Going live is pretty awesome too, just wish there were a few more maps to play with :)

Definitely one of the best in the series so far, this game will keep you glued to the controller for hours. With an in-depth campaign, challenging Special Ops missions and an addictive multiplayer, this is one game you want at the top of your wishlist!

Great game will never sell

Love this game, 10 out of 10. The few things that make this less enjoyable will not be mentioned too much.. I speak of aspects of multiplayer (the deathstreaks – who needs that crap ! -, the marathon-lightweight-commando setup much loved of many a noob with a terrible in game score, the last stand). The pros outweight the cons. Literally. In this, online, I have completed 1000 headshots with all 4 sniper rifles, 5 assault rifles, and 2 lmgs, all legitimate. None of this cheating business that some dwelled in (boosting, hacking) and many more exploits. Getting a nuke these days is old but can always be fun for amusement sake, to punish a team full of arrogant noobs who think they can get away with their marathon/commando nonesense. The maps, Rundown, Terminal, Derail, are a thousand times better than even the ‘best’ Black Ops 2 or Modern Warfare 3. In fact MW3 remade Terminal for its multiplayer but it is far better in MW2 than in MW3, both in terms of graphics and actual gameplay. This is a game, although made in 2009 and quite a few years old now… Which has still a lot of replayability left in it. Even though 10th prestige for myself and my mate Hare was completed long ago.

Online its more challenging in my opinion, mw3 I can get 3–1 KDR on here my KDR is maybe 1–1 if I'm lucky. There is more skilled players there so go there if you don't wanna play with noobs

Still the best CoD game. Forget the rest.

This is another great addition to the Call Of Duty range on offer for Xbox 360. With the multiplayer section being extremely engaging with brilliant maps and adaquate DLC

So for all those players wanting to buy MW2, this is a great game and was made in the time (2009) when FPS made MW2 look good. The campaign is much different and more fun (not really realistic). The multiplayer is still popular in 2012, with more guns than MW1 and new perks,maps, gear etc. This is a game you want to buy if you dont want to spend much but have a great time with it.

Classic game and the transaction from start to finish with mighty ape was classic also…

This game is wicked, always be a favourite in the call of duty franchise, it is really a shame that they took away the faster ADS with sleight of hand pro. Everybody that plays MW2 online loves the quickscoping. Hope they bring it back in MW3 (:

I've just got this game and is already one of my favourite games, I've got quite a lot of cod games but this one definitely stands out

Really good game with a huge multiplayer focus as there are masses of weapons and upgrades to unlock on and offline. Be aware that here aren't any bots to play against but that's okay because nothing beats a four man match on Rust anyway. Great game that will keep you occupied for a long time
