3 stars "Interesting plot, but has some huge holes"

Collateral has an interesting and convincing plot on the face, but when delved in to a bit deeper you will find out that this movie has huge plot holes. Such as in the movie, every hit which is carried out by Vincent (Tom Cruise) has been chronologically timed perfect for them to be complete. This is bordering impossible because how can a hit man move from one hit to another so timely and with such ease and be ready to execute his ordered targets every time without fail- Just doesn't seem to gel.

When Vincent has to take out a South Korean mob boss at a club in what appears to be Koreatown Los Angeles people are still dancing and not running away when shots have begun to be fired- This is crazy but especially quite unrealistic, as the crowd would instantly run after the first shot fired.

I think also too at the bridge over a L.A. Expressway in the middle of the night the taxi driver (Jamie Foxx) throws a suitcase belonging to Vincent off the bridge, but how- Because how did the driver get the lead on who was clearly a professional sharpshooter and murderer and also probably ex-military- That is nuts.

Vincent also makes a dumb decision with his very first hit by rather than letting the law of physics roll the dead body off the car from the second storey window, he decides to stash the body in the back of the taxi taking a big risk if they get stopped by police of which they actually do but get away with the stop because the two inspecting officers get called out to another job! Just as I said full of huge plot holes which leaves the viewer scratching their head.

The director of this is critically acclaimed and this movie is a bit old now at almost ten years old. I read someone on YouTube commenting that one particular scene from this movie, the lone wolf assassin scene, was the greatest scene in the history of cinema. Whhhaaattt- Overstatement of the century.

5 stars "Tom Cruise's best movie!"

He is an amazing villain. The night-time setting is amazing. Soundtrack is superb and Jamie Foxx is excellent! Seriously, nothing goes wrong in this movie.
