Scream of the Shalka Review
“Using some of Britain’s best talents, “Scream of the Shalka” becomes a somewhat successful attempt to revive the dormant franchise-as well as introduce a 9th Doctor whose reign would soon be cut short…Despite being shunted aside and no longer considered canon, “Scream of the Shalka” still has entertainment value as well as a curiosity piece…It’s interesting to watch and wonder about the “Doctor Who” series that could have been, had things not gone in a different direction.” scificool.com
