Perhaps best known as the last adventure (until he came back a couple of times, as doctors tend to do) of the fifth Doctor, The Caves of Androzani featured an eerie and intense soundtrack that's well worth looking into on its own merits. Composed by Roger Limb, the serial's electronic score is the stuff of classic science fiction, with ethereal synthesizers creating a chilling soundscape to act as the backdrop for Peter Davison's terminal outing. Given the show's history with pioneering electronic music, this score is one that will please die-hard Whovians and electronic music buffs alike.
