This game is one of the best I've played on my DS. Even once you finish playing through for the first amazing time, you can continue on with Game+ and double the fun! You are able to play through again with your character and discover new equipment and allies. The online play is very effective in the sense that you simply either host or join a game and play through the story with people all over the globe! Simply a must for any FF fan.

"Great edition to the Final Fantasy series."

Although I didn't find this game too amazing, such as other games in the series have been, but by the DS standards it was really well made.

The story focuses on a boy in which you name, who must race to find a cure to beat the deadly “Crystal Sickness”. The journey for this cure leads him all over the world and far away from his home.

I found the game play a little repeatative with the levels being generally the same following a labrynth type layout. Now, the good points. The graphics for being on the DS are in themself amazing! The game is packed full of different mini games for you to unlock through out the entire game and complete to earn special rewards. So if you find yourself getting a little bored, you can always have fun on one of those. You can unlock many different characters or create your own and build up the stats. Another aspect I love about this game, is that you get to create your own weapons via synthensis.

Overall, although the game is a little lacking in the game play department, this is still a must have for the DS and definately one of the best games out.

Determined to obtain the cure, the hero steps out of the secluded village for the first time, only to discover a world in which crystals are merely artifacts of the past and no longer exist…
