Interesting and factual tales that make this book a valuable purchase to add to your collection of fishing books regarding New Zealand fishing. I learnt many interesting facts and enjoyed the many little snippets that Peter has come across over the years. Highly recommended. Ken Hedge

Description

If there is one thing the Kiwi fisherman enjoys almost as much as catching fish, it’s telling stories about fish. Everyone has a ‘fishy story’. Peter Jessup has been collecting such tales for more than 30 years as a writer and fishing enthusiast whose work has been widely published in New Zealand magazines and newspapers.

Fishermen’s Tales is a collection of believe-it-or-not fishing stories from New Zealand and afar. It’s funny, it’s scary and it’s guaranteed to entertain.

About the Author:

Peter Jessup has written about fishing in New Zealand publications (such as the NZ Herald and NZ Fishing World) for more than 30 years. He makes frequent public appearances at fishing events such as contests and is well-regarded within the sport. This is his first book.
