PATRICK LOUGHLIN is a high school English teacher and writer who lives in Sydney with his wife, two daughters and hyperactive spoodle. As a kid, Patrick loved sport, he just wasn't very good at it. His biggest achievement on the cricket field came at 39 years of age when he hit three 'sixes' in a row during a family game of beach cricket. His ten-year-old nephew was bowling at the time.
