"Great Ending!!!!"
5 stars"

I have watched the japanese version – and its just a good as the first season! One of the first Gundam Series to have a second season produced, and by all means not the last. This time you see the story from PLANT's side, and not everything is quite what it seems..... The story will keep you on the edge of your seat! If you loved the first season – you will most definitely have to add this box set to your collection.

"OK, a good continuation of seed"

"Doesn't really cut it."
3 stars"

This series falls short of the mark set by Seed, and the ending is probably the worst ending in any Anime, or any show for that matter, that I've ever seen. It should be watched only after watching Seed, if that.

Has some good battles, and it's griping as it draws to the climax with an interesting antagonist that was unexpected, but has poor character development. Athrun learns the exact same lesson that he did on Seed. Cagalli is a completely different person, and Kira has the personality of cardboard now.

Description

A new Gundam rises from the depths of a new threat

With both PLANT and Earth Forces entering a state of uneasy truce, the world has once again found itself at peace. Yet for some, the war has never ended. Shin Asuka, a coordinator who lost his entire family during the Battle of Orb, now fights with ZAFT in their newest prototype: the Impulse Gundam. When one of these machines is stolen by Federation forces, the world once again spirals towards chaos.
