Susan McBane began riding at the age of four and has had many years' experience of riding and caring for her own, and other people's, horses and ponies. She has been a specialist equestrian author for 30 years, helped found Britian's Equine Behaviour Study Circle, and has been the editor of its journal, Equine Behaviour, for eighteen years.
