"One of the best films to come out of New Zealand"
5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

If you like a good mix of comedy and horror, then this movie is definitely worth your time. It offers alot of unique, original ideas. Which is a great thing when being part of the zombie genre. However, all of the horror movie cliches are in here, but parodied in such a way that will have you grinning from ear to ear till your at the end credits. There's a little bit of something to be enjoyed by anybody who is infact a comedy/horror fan. Whoever was in charge of the makeup on the zombies done a fantastic job. Brilliantly written and directed by New Zealand's own Guy Pigden, and lead acting role by Harley Neville (played awesomely as the main character Wesley). Watch a zombie apocalypse unfold during the shooting of a zombie film. Will Wesley have more than what it takes to jumpstart his career as a screen writer- You should add this to your trolley to find out :)

"Top Notch Zomedy"
5 stars"

It's suspenseful, it's gory, it's heart-warming, it's inspiring and it's down right f**king hilarious! I love the script along with the perfect timing of the execution of it. I think some of the one-liners will be ones to be quoted for years to come. This film has elements in it that haven't been seen in a zombie movie, or any movie in fact, before. Props for the SFX too.

"Awesome zombie comedy!"
5 stars"

Always a bit skeptical about new Zombie films, but this is destined to be a kiwi cult classic. Awesome humour and zombie carnage plus a pretty unique setting. Very original. Great to finally watch a NZ zombie film that measures up to Braindead. Highly recommend.
