Not a musical, a Rock Opera, the acting in this movie is amazing and sucks you in to the story. Ted Neely does an amazing job and is much better than the Andrew Lloyd Webber stage version. Don't let the genre put you off.. even my husband loves this movie and he's a comic book movie geek!
This rock opera was brilliant when it came out and the passage of time hasn't made it any less watchable. The songs are so catchy you end up singing them years later. So happy to find a copy of this for my dvd collection – its BRILLIANT :o)
For musical lovers everywhere. Great use of the natural setting. More depth to the story than can be done on stage.
