I absolutely adore this book. I am a huge fan of baking and have not had that much experience as I am young, yet I have found this book a delight to read as every recipe is accompanied by a gorgeous picture showing off her amazing creations! When looking at the photos everything looks so exquisite and challenging. However, when reading the recipes it all becomes realistic and certainly achievable. I have made the most gorgeous lemon shortcake and I cannot wait to try the other recipes! There are about four different chocolate cake recipes, so this is also a chocolate-lovers dream! Definately worth buying this book!!!

Julie Le Clerc is an imaginative chef, cookbook author, food and travel writer and food stylist. Julie has had an eventful culinary career that includes many years cooking in professional kitchens, running her own boutique catering business and owning and cooking for two highly successful cafes. She now lives an enviable life filled with travelling, tasting, eating and writing about food from her base in Auckland, New Zealand.
