This series has been one of my favourite to watch. The life between to neighbouring villages and the people. How the children grow through out the series and the wisdom of the village people. Very real and engaging

Anyone who has English Families who lived in the era of this DVD will find it a great insight into the lives of the haves and have nots of those times. Just wonderful and I plan to add the DVDs to my life history as an illustration for my children, grandchildren and great grandchildren as to how life may have been for their ancestors.
It you love old fashion stories. You will Love this one. I have now got all of the Series.
As each character evolves the stories become more & more enchanting. Naughty Twister and his childish habits will irritate and bring you back for more. Each episode has an element of what will happen next.
Very Interesting as to the way of things in those times.
