Jeff Wayne has updated his musical for the modern generation. The music is dynamic, the pyrotechnics a and special effects are fantastic. Alas some of the actors performances are lacking but they are saved by the music. Well worth watching and singing aloud!
It was great to see this. Liam Neeson was terrific and Jason Donovan did his character proud. Special effects was great and the music was awesome!!
This re imagining of the Jeff Wayne stage musical does not disappoint. Being a fan of the book and the film of the same name I was interested in seeing how it transferred to the stage. Basic elements of the original H G Wells story are faithfully recreated with the likes of Liam Neeson and Jason Donovan starring. Musical score absolutely brilliant and the Martian machine, wow!
