Just so special for the production of this bluray to have been filmed at Melbourne's beautiful Regent Theatre. Fantasic performances and so much color!

"An follow-up to one of the best stage show ever"

This may be the sequel to one of the best stage shows ever but lacks the greatness of the original. Still worth watching to complete the story.

"Great spectacle, cast, songs...... Terrible story"

Saw this in Sydney. Fantastic performance by the Australian cast, great songs, amazing set… Overall a great theatrical experience. This has been carried over to the blu ray and it has certainly captured those elements. However… The storyline absolutely stinks… For those who have seen Phantom, they will surely hear themselves saying “whaaaat the-” on a number of occasions. It might have been better as a ‘stand alone’ piece, rather than trying to fit in well known and loved characters… Worth buying but not for the story, in my opinion.

Being a fan of musical theatre you could say I was bound to enjoy “Love Never Dies” but encompassing all my other musical theatre experiences both live and filmed this is one of the most beautiful and emotional works I have witnessed.

Andrew Lloyd Webber is able to remind/educate his audience of the past fluidly and succinctly, whether you've seen “The Phantom Of The Opera” or not and then sends us into a new world which is both exciting and new yet reminiscent and filled with both musical and architectural remnants of the original ‘Phantom’.

I do not wish to spoil any events of the plot however will say that the story grows, expands both as you could hope and fear, as any sequel to “The Phantom Of The Opera” can – in the grandest of fashions.
