Not a game for the faint of heart, or those who demand instant gratification, but if you're willing to pour some time into this game and learn it's ins and outs you will be greatly rewarded. Not to mention, it has the best online portion of any Wii game! Highly recommended to gamers who expect more bang for their buck.

Monster Hunter Tri offers a deep and rewarding gaming experience. There is a lot to do in this game, with the offline single player mode taking around 50 hours to finish and the free online multiplayer mode adding more quests, items and almost infinite replay value.

In this game, you play the part of a fledgling monster hunter who needs to save the local townspeople from the monsters in their area. To defeat the monsters you will need to learn their various attack patterns and weaknesses. Instead of earning XP and levelling, you upgrade your character by crafting new weapons and armour from items harvested from the slain monsters.

This game requires a reasonable amount of grinding as some items are harder to get than others. Ultimately, I highly recommend this game, especially if your Wii is connected to the net.
