"The Greatest Time Sync since Zelda"

What can I say? you go into it a noob and come out of it a pro, the tutorials are informative, the monsters are epic, the armors and weapons are amazing.

Never can get bored with the offline quests and then the huge amount of online quests, not to mention event items! Now how could you say no to that? Almost a MMO in fact Monster Hunter is in its own category.

In Summary PURE AWESOMENESS

Although Monster Hunter seems like somewhat of a generic JRPG at first glance it is a great game that has a surprising amount of depth in gameplay, amazing visuals, and excellent replay value that will keep you coming back for more Monster Hunting fun for a long time!

"The best I have played in years"

This game Is both fun and challenging, the online game play keeps you coming back for more and the quests are hard with out being ridiculous. The graphic's are some of the best I have seen on the Wii. Every battle with the monsters requires a new tactic to be able to beat it so you wont get bored When you go to hunt an new and monstrous creature. I recommend this game to every one looking for a long term game to play as the quests run for 50 minutes, and you need that time for accumulating resources.

Description

No ordinary action game, Monster Hunter Tri features an entire living and breathing ecosystem, where monsters interact authentically and naturally with each other, their environment - and you.

You play an up-and-coming hunter in a land where humans and monsters co-exist. Your battles with the fearsome creatures you face will be challenging, tactical and you will learn to pick them wisely, respecting the monsters and seeking to defeat them only in order to gain vital items for your quest.

A story-led single-player mode allows players to immerse themselves into the game’s huge world, and multiplayer modes offer an additional level of excitement. Play co-operatively in a two player split screen mode or team up with friends online and take part in epic battles with enormous, monsters. With full Wii Speak compatibility, hunters can share their knowledge of monsters’ weaknesses, discuss hunting strategy in real time, and even cry for help when needed or celebrate after a victorious battle.

Features:
  • Co-op Hunting - In the hunt, you’re never alone. Hunt together with up to three other players online, with the availability for 2-player split-screen.  In single-player mode, you even have the ability to hunt with AI-controlled characters named ChaCha.
  • Monsters with Unique Abilities and Attacks - Monsters have unique and dynamic personalities, abilities and defenses, increasing in complexity as the player progresses. They camouflage themselves to ambush hunters, but will flee or call for help if outmatched.
  • Immense Living, Breathing World with Ecosystem - Monsters interact amongst each other in a living breathing ecosystem, complete with food chain. Monsters have stamina, migrate and even attack one another, the strong feeding on the weak.
  • New Underwater Maps - For the first time ever in any Monster Hunter game, you will be able explore land and sea, and hunt monsters of the deep.
  • Fully Customisable Equipment - With seven weapon categories, including the all-new “Switch Axe”, and new armor and weaponry created from the remains of slain monsters, there are almost limitless opportunities for equipment customisation.
  • Choice of Controls - Play with either the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, or with the Classic Controller or Classic Controller Pro (only available in the Bundle SKU).
  • Use the Wii Speak accessory for online communication with other players.
