"A disgrace in the racing genre..."
1 stars"

The NFS series has arguably gone downhill since the PS1 days when Hot Pursuit was the best racer around…no boy-racing that totally wrecked the series.

If you want boy-racing, pick up Midnight Club which is superior in every way.

The learning curve for Undercover is easy and getting to know the map is fairly easy.

Events such as Escape and Cop Takeouts are fun and the police are persistent and very thrilling…Porsche police cars are releases along with SUV's, helicopters and plenty of spike strips.

The checkpoints events that involve you to get to each checkpoint before the time runs out is fantastic! Very well implemented.

Unfortunately…here are the cons of this average racer:

– Frame rate issues – later in the game at high speeds the game looks as though it could freeze any second (this is COMPLETELY unacceptable as Burnout Paradise is by far the quickest racing game ever)
- Glitching and freezing. Sometimes the game may freeze when loading, there are loads of glitches such as starting a race where you can enter the sky and reach 750kph. Most of the time you can see in-game that the background hasn't loaded up properly and you witness blank terrain.
- Bad game physics e.g. how can I hit a car at full speed in the side and they accelerate while I spin out?
- Extremely frustrating and cheating opponents…in the later races when you have the Bugatti (the fastest car) some cars like the Zonda, Dodge Viper or even Corvette can keep up even though your at 380kph.
- Online is terrible…2 games modes: Cops and Robbers and Race. No customizing of which cars you can use unless you have finished the game.

The game has a great variety of cars though with Lamborghini's, Porsches, Bugatti Veyron, Dodge Viper etc…but sadly, it makes up little for this frustrating game.

Trophies are available but even they are glitched e.g. “Notorious” – Finish 119 ranked races online. You can get this by doing Cops and Robbers events AND I got it at 140 events along with other people…

This is worst game on the PS3 by far. 2/10

Purchased on Mighty Ape

Brilliant, heaps to do even after youve clocked it. A must have for all need for speed fans. Awesum graphics, cool gameplay.

The driftings maybe not that great but then thats probably cause theres not that much of it in there especially at the beginning. The drags are cool tho with being able to warm your tyres to get a better startjust like in real life.

"Bad pauses"

Pausing at high speed & when there's too much things to render on screen.
