Homebrew’s Tom Scott and his @peace compadres Lui Tuiasau, Christoph El’ Truento, Dandruff Dicky and B.Haru made good use of the ample resources on tap at Red Bull’s Auckland HQ, and not just the studio, where they were hard at work on their debut album.
With only a week of studio time up their collective sleeves to get a freshly inked batch of songs down, they used all the fuel they could get.
“With this album, we read before we wrote,” Scott explains. “My life’s not as interesting as space and quantum physics and futurism, and all this shit we’re talking about. This time, I’m trying to write about nothing that’s got to do with my personal experience. We’re trying to address issues that are universal.”
