Pokemon HeartGold & SoulSilver Kanto Guide Pokedex : Prima Official Game Guide reviews

I found the book very helpful regarding aspects that the the first part of the guide left out.

If you look in the previous guide for example, Mewtwo is mentioned that you have to trade it over from another Pokemon game, however in this one, it mentions that you can find it in Cerulean cave.
Another great feature with the book is the much expanded Pokedex, which tells you which TM's and HM's a pokemon can learn, which wasn't covered in the previous book. The book also includes the phone numbers of all the available trainers in the game and how to contact all 16 gymleaders for rematches. Having played Pokemon FireRed, I found the whole guide to the Kanto region interesting, even though I'd played through the region, in a different game, many times before.

This is absolutely the best pokedex ever, amazingly detailed file for each one of all 493 pokemons. I love it !

This is a great book for Pokemon fans. Contains heaps of information on all 493 Pokemon. Stats could be given in a more helpful format but overall it is an awesome book. As close as you'll get to a real Pokedex.

This Kanto Guide is just what you need to complete the HeartGold SoulSilver adventures. It has everything from post game adventures to pokewalker routes. It tells you where Pokemon are for catching and which ones need tobe traded. It is a must have for any Pokemon gamer.

if your a big pokemon fan like me this book is so good tells you how to get all the pokemon for the new DS pokemon version's a must have for a person trying to catch them all

This book is super cool. It has every single pokemon in its Pokedex and has extra gaming stuff like the kanto region game play aswell. This book is packed with heaps of goodies and information. I highly recommend anyone who has Heart Gold, Soul Silver or a mega Pokemon fan to buy this item.

While its great to have this kind of information at your finger tips its not always worth the effort. Pokemon games have always been straight forward to finish and theres nothing in this guide that cant be located in a matter of minutes by using a few choice websites. if you plan on playing your pokemon games away from home (and therefore the internet) then this may be worth it for you however if not then im not so sure you need to invest the money into something like this

A very nice book it has everything you need to know about heart gold and soul silver this book has over 500 pages its very well detailed truthfully I would recommend this book over the volume 1 book (this being volume 2 (fyi) so buying/getting this book will/would help you out a lot on your pokemon journey im sure you'll find something that you didn't know before getting this book I did and im glad I got this book very worth getting! :) enjoy!

This book is full of information for the game. The perfect companion to HGSS. I found it very helpful and it has helped me found really cool items and help me defeat gym leaders.

I was able to see what was going to come up and find the best way to defeat the pokemon. It also helped me found the best place to train up my pokemon and where to find new ones.

The pokedex is just awesome, it has all the pokemon (Up to HGSS) and is full of useful stuff like what TMs the pokemon can learn and when it will learn moves by leveling up.

This is a must have for all pokemon fans!

As with the similar Pokemon Platinum guide, it is jam packed with everything you need to know with an expanisve cverage of The Kanto leg of the HGSS journey, with awesome presenation and artwork plus a pokedex to round it off, you will be lost without it!
