Not spectacular but still entertaining.

I really love vampire movies, this one though while a vampire movie was only mediocre. Fine if you're just wanting to pass the time, but don't expect to be riveted. It was rather predictable too, meant you can go and get munchies without pausing the movie so it's not all bad.

I think Karl Urban is great, so without him I probably wouldn't have brought this movie. But once I watched it I realised it was not your normal re-hashed vampire story.
