When Primeval began its 6 episode run 3 years ago the critics in England gave it a fair old tounge lashing saying it was ITV"s attempt to cash in on the Doctor Who phenon that was sweeping the U.K,now with season 3 in full swing and showing at primetime in the United Kingdom,they just cant get enough of it. This however being the first season lays the groundrules,introduces you to the characters and prepares you for what can only be called,one hell of a rollercoaster ride,and unlike some this show just keeps getting better,season 2 followed with 7 episodes and now season three which is currently showing in the U.K has expanded to 12 episodes,there is even talk of a major motion picture,you"ve got to love the brits,when they do something well,this series is no exception.
