…you cant help but love it.
This is one of those instances where you don't mind suspending your disbelief. Not at all. In fact doing so makes the film so much better. Its another example of Anime doing something so outrageous that its beautiful.
The animation in this one is unique to say the least. It really stretches that malleable element that Anime is so known for and results in a wonderful viewing experience.
The characters are likeable with enough development to keep you interested. The story paces along well enough but its really the animation and sound design that really make the experience.
A unique film that deserves being seen on Blu-ray.
