Out of all the Shihad albums, this is the one I remember making the most impact. Apart from the band signing a record deal that meant no promotion in the USA, this was the best era for the band I think 96–97. Followed by 1998 with the Inteconnecter CD they put out. I think this was the time when after their heavy but also career defining Killyjoy record did well and another heavy one before the band could change their sound slightly to something a bit more memorable and songwriting based. I still think it is by far the BEST album they did, and really I think the first 3 Shihad albums are the best ones. Every song on this album is great NZ rocknroll which means you can just listen to the whole thing right through (many songs written about people and experiences of traveling)…its also not too serious as other records of theirs later became.
