This season is so action packed it has really gotten away from the inital set up of smallville where they were introducing metor freaks. The plot thickens and you see more dramas happen with the main characters of the story. About episodes 14 onwards it starts to get really interesting!
Every story has a riveting turn
This season and season 9 are the best seasons, personally I only watched from this season to 10 because I was interested in Green Arrow but now i\I will defiantly watch the rest. This season doesn't require much knowledge of previous seasons if you are watching it to see Green Arrow, personally I found Justin Hartley's portrayal of Green Arrow to be more true to the comics than that of Stephen Amell's. I highly recommend this and I especially enjoyed the first half of the series which featured Green Arrow in nearly every episode 100%
