Seriously the sound on this headset is amazing, I have the original sony ps3 7.1 headset which was a great headset, however this new Sony Pulse headset is just hands down amazing. The bass is awesome (especially for battlefield 3) and the bass is adjustable. I was hesitant at first but now I have tried it out I am extremely happy. You will not be disappointed, this headset could be sold for $300 and still be worth it.
Muliple sound modes (with voice prompts) for different game types like fighting, racing and shooter as well as movie and music modes. Bass is adjustable (sliding control) and sounds great. Comfortable to wear and even cranked up the sound doesn't intrude into surrounding area. Haven't tested mic yet but if anything like the rest should be good. Very pleased with purchase.
