The Force Unleashed was an excellent game which I recommend to any Star Wars fan. This sequel however I find a serious let down. Its story had potential, but the game itself is short lived and drawn out. While they kept some of the fantastic original play style, it seems this should have really been a cheap downloadable content rather than a whole new game. A serious let down to me.

The force unleashed 2 is an improvement upon the 1st one. The graphics are slicker, the gameplay is funner and they have ironed out a few of the issues surrounding the 1st one to handle better like the lock on for force grip.
Minor spoilers Personally I found the story to be non existent. You pretty much are trying to find juno the entire game and show up darth vader as being useless (unless he planned to fail miserably from the start) when you see the ending for the light side you will get what I mean. Cameos used poorly as had little relevance including popular characters who merely served as lip service for the mere seconds they were on screen.
While it was a cool game hence the 4 stars it is rediculously short. Took me 5 hours and there are only about 4 locations spread out over a couple missions each. Its an improvement over the 1st one but the length is even worse than the original.
It felt like they decided to cut content out to sell as dlc later thats how short it is and for 120$ was quite surprising esp when this is just a single player game.
I definitely recommended you play this game but the entry price can be abit steep for what you get. What you get is awesome but the story is lacking and the length is a joke.
Force unleashed 2 had excellent graphics, some good story content, but lacked in the amount of stages, took less time to beat the 2nd than it did the 1st one, seemed like they put less into the fighting skills options and upgrades. I did like the light saber mix and matching for different status effects. Should of had more option for light and dark side choices, to be good and evil. Hope they bring out another one but with more content.
The Force Unleashed 2 was incredible graphically. But it lacked heavily in the story, and length departments. With almost no story, and a campaign spanning 5–5.5 hours at most.
With a short singleplayer campaign, and no multiplayer, it lacks heavily in the gameplay department. I would say that it would be better to rent, rather than buy this game, unless you are an absolute die-hard SW fan.
4/5
Great sequel to the original with great graphics and sweet cinematics, if your a fan of the first one you should enjoy the second part of the series.
And a highlight is the jedi mind-trick – cause your enemies to attack each other or jump from the platforms and out windows.
Just like the first force unleashed, this is a game for hardcore star wars fans. The gameplay is really fun and the graphics have improved a lot. My only complaint is that the story is a little boring and the cameos are pointless although I still give the game a solid 5 stars.
Excellent game! I love the graphics and the storyline is great. The customization of the lightsabers is so cool. A wee bit short, but it's short and sweet!! Overall fantastic game. Highly recommend it to all Star Wars fans.
I am quite dissapointed in this game i expected alot considering how awesome force unleashed was this game was too short and too easy yet on the plus side you have much more awesome powers and moves and yet lacks depth and story leaves bit unsure but overall 3 of 5
If you like Star Wars then buy this game. If not then stay away.
Brilliant game, amazing graphics and storyline but there's a limited amount of times you'll want to play through it
I'm what you might call a Star Wars apologist. My passion for George Lucas ' ever-expanding sci-fi series extends far beyond the boundaries of fanboyism, stretching as far as unabashed bias in some cases. Despite Anakin Skywalker and Jar Jar Binks , I still love the new trilogy. Despite repetition and long levels, I still love the first Force Unleashed. I'm telling you this to contextualize what I'm about to say: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 is an abject failure on almost every level, and an incredibly disappointing follow-up.
This game is more challenging than the first but spend a bit of time and it is pretty cool and better than the original.
Basically God of War 3 in the Star Wars universe. It's fun cutting up things with your lightsabers and using force powers but the plot is flawed and it's very, very short.
There are only 4 levels and one of them is reused, there are a lot of made up enemies to battle but after a while the cinematic combo's you use to take them down get repeditive and boring.
General gameplay is fun with quite a few moves and force powers at your disposal, and being able to mix up your lightsabers to suit your situation makes life a bit easier. Force powers work really well, and the interface to control them is slick so things go where you want them.
The whole story is a bid disjointed so as a SW fan I was a bit baffled as to how it actually fitted into the SW universe.
Overall, good fun for a day or two but dries up after that.
Unless it's very cheap or you are renting then not worth forking out for.
Good fun. Shorter than expected but still great fun.
Compared to the first one, this was quite short feeling and the story was not close to the original, but still fun to play.
