Stories for Little Boys (Usborne) reviews

I found this book, with 5 little boys stories to be wonderful for bedtime reading. With beautiful illistrations, it really brings the book to life for my son.

With stories like The Emperors Clothes and The Gingerbread Man that I remember from my childhood and new ones introducing concepts of what's underneath our feet and how castles worked in the old days, I find it a charming read that my 2 year just loves.

He did cause me to laugh out loud when he advised it was not okay to for soldiers to push their enemies off ladders to stop them getting over the castle walls. The illustrations are bright and with an amazing level of detail so you can use it as an interactive educational tool as well.

With so many stories to choose from that are suitable for reading together and don't take too long either at bedtime, its a good book for mums and dads to enjoy with their sons (and daughters too!).

I recommend this book from preschoolers to around nine / ten years of age, depending on interest areas.

Extremely happy with my purchase of this book for my 4 year old. We finished reading it in just two bedtime readings and have re read it many times since. My son loves it, great pictures, lovely stories. Is a precious, gorgous book. Highly recommended!

The Usborne Stories for little Boys has been a major hit in my house! The picture's are fantastic for my 3 1/2 yr old to look at, while my 6 yr old is learning to read the storys. A great anytime book! We love it.
