But a fun, fast read. Large print. Reads like a picture book but the book is broken into three stories / chapters – so a good starter chapter book for reluctant readers. Fun, relatable, topics: bad smells, hide and seek and being cold. Lots of repeated words / phrases and rhymes. Ideal for a 5–6 year-old, but humour and cute images would likely make it still acceptable for older kids than that. Includes the word ‘bum’, but nothing worse than that.
