Absolutely worth it for the money!
For a long time, close to 2 years, I have wanted to get into the horus heresy. However the price of the pound + shipping have limited what I could get. This changes all that.
With this you you get about 600 USD resin for 300NZD plastic. You could make any combination of veteran and tactical squad and an awesome loadout of terminators. The contemptor is a bit static looking, but it's not too bad as he looks like he's about to wreck shop anyway. The characters are pretty badass too.
I won't be making these into the ultras and wordies, but into a 1500 point Pride of the Legion force, with 3 10 man veteran units. This is a great core to a force as you can add a couple of tactical squads later and switch them out as you feel necessary.

While this is a decent boardgame in its own right its value increases even more as a starting army for Horus Heresy 30k battles.
30 Plastic marines, 5 Cataphractii terminators, contemptor dreadnaught and 2 characters go a long way, especially if you do what I did and magnetized their weapon options.
