I absolutely LOVED this book! It has to be one of the best books I've ever read :). It keeps you on the edge of your seat all the time with its constant action. I couldn't stop reading it. It was just SO addictive :D.

The characters were great. I loved Grimalkin, a funny, sarcastic cat. Puck was hilarious, and Ash… dreamy sigh he definitely had me from, “Touch her and I'll freeze your testicles off and put them in a jar. Understand?”

I get why some people don't like Meghan. She's not the most interesting of protagonists. But I liked her, and I thought it was really sweet how she would do anything to save her brother.

I loved how it kinda had an Alice in Wonderland feel to it. I really liked how the author put so many different types of creatures in the book. This book was so creepy in parts it made shivers go down my spine, and it was so sad in parts in made me cry. This book had everything: Adventure, romance, humor and so much more! It was truly a magical, engaging read.

The only bad things about it were that in some parts the author could of described things more, and the cliffhanger at the end. It makes you think, ‘What's going to happen next?’ ‘Is Puck going to be all right?’ But overall, I loved it, and would definitely recommend it. Can't wait for The Iron Daughter!

I orginally got this book for my nieces and decided to pick it up and have a read, literally found I could not put it down. I was drawn into the world of Fey and decided I had to read the series to find out what happens to Meghan and Ash!

Description

Meghan Chase has a secret destiny—one she could never have imagined…
Something has always felt slightly off in Meghan's life, ever since her father disappeared before her eyes when she was six. She has never quite fit in at school…or at home.
When a dark stranger begins watching her from afar, and her prankster best friend becomes strangely protective of her, Meghan senses that everything she's known is about to change.
But she could never have guessed the truth—that she is the daughter of a mythical faery king and is a pawn in a deadly war. Now Meghan will learn just how far she'll go to save someone she cares about, to stop a mysterious evil no faery creature dare face…and to find love with a young prince who might rather see her dead than let her touch his icy heart.
