If you are purchasing this for the actual little yellow digger, then think again. This is a single piece molded plastic “digger” which can follow black lines – but beyond this it is not much fun to play with. Nothing moves on it, and is not a good replica of the little yellow digger.

Our son enjoys the cardboard digger that came with The Little Yellow Digger at the Zoo a LOT more, so I would recommend purchasing that book if you want an actual yellow digger to play with!

If you don't already have the original Little Yellow Digger book, then this is OK value – as it does include the book (which is excellent), so in that case you are only paying around $7 for the toy – which is probably worth around $2, so you won't feel so ripped off.

Pity they didn't make a real little yellow digger toy!
