Thomas, but not like you remember him!
No longer do they have real model trains and require face changes on the engines for facial expressions, it's all done with animation.
And it's nicely polished and almost as good as any feature length animated movie out of Hollywood.

Thomas & Friends: Misty Island Rescue
Thomas is back in an all-new feature length movie.
Thomas is sent to the mainland to collect special wood for the new search and rescue station. As there is no room on the boat, Thomas must be pulled behind on a small barge.
Unfortunately, the chain breaks and Thomas is lost at sea. He finds himself on far away Misty Island. There he meets the three “logging locos”: Dash and Bash, the mischievous twins, and Ferdinand, the gentle giant. They try to help Thomas get home. Meanwhile, all of the engines are searching for Thomas with the help of the lifeboat Captain.
