Hiro looks great and is nice and quiet on the track. My 3 year old loves it. A working light would have been a nice addition to this train, like the older models of battery powered wooden rail Thomas trains had.

This battery-operated Hiro is a powerful engine able to climb steep hills and tow a long train of engines and carriages behind him. He is not particularly fast but what he lacks in speed he makes up for in tenacity. My only criticism is that his 6 wheels do not swivel (unlike the 8 wheels on the non battery powered version), so he gets stuck going around tight corners, but this doesn't bother the kids too much! Overall a great toy.
