Almost 10 years ago (August 2000) three of our most talented and treasured singer/songwriters, Tim Finn, Dave Dobbyn, and Bic Runga, embarked on a 26-date theater tour of New Zealand, sharing the stage while performing some of the best-known songs from each others catalog, among them Tim Finn's "Six Months in a Leaky Boat" and "Persuasion", Bic Runga's "Sway" and "Drive", and Dave Dobbyn's "Whaling" and "Just Add Water", among others.

Many of these extraordinary performances were recorded and resulted in the album ‘Together in Concert’. The album was a huge success and went on to sell over 70,000 copies in New Zealand. This extraordinary tour was also filmed and resulted in a half hour TV special that screened on TVNZ that same year.
