I love historical dramas and this would be one of the best and original ones I have seen. Great story lines and acting, interesting characters. It gave an insight into the lives of the viking people and came across as authentic, season 2 bring it on!!
With Season 2 released on DVD in Oct 2014, it's almost to hard to wait for it to turn up on New Zealand's shelves, but it had better come out soon. This is a brilliant drama, that draws from strong historical research and the stories of the sagas, but still manages to surprise the viewer and has plenty of action. Definitely recommended, though a couple of the episodes require the R rating.
