"Brilliant Visual Novel"
4 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

Virtues Last Reward by Atlus is a must play for visual novel fans and fans of games such as the Kyle Hyde series or the Another Code series by Cing.

The story, starting out with you finding yourself trapped in a small room, is the work of genius and will keep you enthralled throughout the many twists and turns the game takes.

The music is ominous and very fitting for the tense atmosphere of the game.

The only downside is that you really must play the Prequel 999 before you play this game, as it is set in the same world and may give you a lot of background you would otherwise miss.

All in all, I give it a four out of five, as occasionally the storylines get to be very scientific based and the timelines can be confusing to some people.

"not as good"

Though well done, we loved 999 and clocked all endings this one however, hasn't got it. It's missing something, which we cannot put a finger on, still a good game however., but NOT IN THE LEAGUE of 999. We think it's time for the DEVS to give this series up and leave it be. It's becoming a sterile experience, the total opposite of 999.
