Good book, its just a shame its so short before your onto the next one, i would recomend getting one of the compendiums to avoid this happening. Slightly differs from the tv series but thats to be expected.

If you like the TV Show, then the comics are a must. These were the originals dialog the show is based on. the TV show follows the same lines (sort of) just with a few different characters. a must read for any fan.

its a very well done comic very interesting and the series altogether is brilliant, starting when a cop wakes up from hospital to find that zombies have taken over, rick sets out to look for his family.
